Ivica Brzić started his professional football journey with the club Novi Sad. He helped them get promoted to the top league in Yugoslavia in the 1960–61 season. He played regularly for Novi Sad for three years.

Playing for Vojvodina: A League Champion

In 1965, Brzić joined Vojvodina, which was a very important club for him. He played a key role in helping Vojvodina win the Yugoslav First League title in the 1965–66 season. This was a huge achievement for the club! He stayed with Vojvodina for about seven and a half years, playing in 200 league games and scoring five goals.

Playing Abroad: Austria Adventures

Later in his career, in 1972, Brzić moved to Austria. He played for two Austrian clubs: DSV Alpine and VÖEST Linz. He played for these teams for a few seasons before he decided to retire from playing football in 1976.
