Ja'Gared Deniandruis Davis, born on September 11, 1990, is an American professional football player. He plays as a defensive end, which is a position on the defense that tries to tackle the opposing team's quarterback or stop their running plays. Ja'Gared is a two-time champion of the Grey Cup, which is the championship game for the CFL. He won his first Grey Cup in 2018 with the Calgary Stampeders and his second in 2022 with the Toronto Argonauts. He played college football at Southern Methodist University before starting his professional career. He first joined the Houston Texans in 2013.

Early Life and High School Football
Ja'Gared grew up in Crockett, Texas. He went to Crockett High School, where he was a star player on the football team. His excellent defensive skills earned him the title of District 20-3A Defensive Co-MVP during his time in high school.
College Football Career
Ja'Gared played college football for the SMU Mustangs. He was a very successful player during his college years.
Sophomore Season (2010)
In his second year, he was named to the First-team Conference USA. He also received an honorable mention as an All-American from CollegeFootballNews.com.
Junior Season (2011)
During his junior year, Ja'Gared was chosen for the second-team All-C-USA. He had an amazing game against UTEP, where he made eight tackles, 1.5 sacks, one interception, and forced a fumble that he recovered for a touchdown. This performance earned him the FWAA National Defensive Player Of The Week award.
Senior Season (2012)
In his final college season, he was named to the second-team All-Texas by Dave Campbell's Texas Football. He also made the First-team All-C-USA again. By the end of his college career, Ja'Gared had made 301 tackles, 20.5 sacks, 4 interceptions, and forced 6 fumbles.

Ja'Gared Davis has played for several teams in both the NFL and the CFL.
Starting in the NFL (2013-2015)
After the 2013 NFL Draft, Ja'Gared signed with the Houston Texans. Later that year, he was picked up by the New England Patriots. He spent some time with the Patriots before moving to the Kansas City Chiefs in late 2014. He also played briefly for the Washington Redskins before returning to the Chiefs in 2015.
Success in the CFL (2016-Present)
Ja'Gared found great success when he joined the Calgary Stampeders in the CFL in 2016.
- Calgary Stampeders (2016-2018): With the Stampeders, Ja'Gared became a key defensive player. He helped the team win the 106th Grey Cup championship in 2018.
- Hamilton Tiger-Cats (2019-2021): In 2019, he signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He played with them for a few seasons, being named a CFL East All-Star in 2019 and 2021.
