Jabari Amin Greer (born February 11, 1982) is a former American professional football player. He was a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL). Jabari played college football for the Tennessee Volunteers. He later joined the Buffalo Bills in 2004. He also played for the New Orleans Saints.

Early Life and Sports
Jabari Greer was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. When he was seven, his family moved to Texas. Later, they lived in Jackson, Tennessee.
He went to South Side High School. There, he was a top player in football. He also won seven state championships in track and field.
College Sports Career
Jabari Greer went to the University of Tennessee. He played both football and ran track. In track, he broke a school record in the 110m hurdles.
He also won the 2003 NCAA Indoor Championship for 60 meter hurdles. In football, he was a starting cornerback for three years. He set a school record by playing in 51 games. Jabari graduated in 2004 with a degree in psychology.
Professional Football Career
Jabari Greer hoped to be picked in the 2004 NFL Draft. However, he was not chosen by any team. Scouts noted he was a bit smaller than some other players.
Playing for the Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills signed Jabari Greer on April 26, 2004. He joined them as an undrafted free agent. This means he was not drafted but signed a contract after the draft.
While with the Bills, he mostly played as a nickelback or dimeback. These are special defensive players who come in when the other team uses more receivers. He also played on special teams, which are units for kicking and punting plays. In 2008, he started 10 games. He scored two "Pick 6s" (interceptions returned for touchdowns) before getting injured.
Playing for the New Orleans Saints
On March 4, 2009, Jabari Greer signed a four-year contract. He joined the New Orleans Saints. He became a starting player for the Saints.
He even returned an interception for a touchdown against the Atlanta Falcons. He got injured on November 8, 2009. This made him miss most of the 2009 regular season. But he came back in time to play a big part in the playoffs.
On February 12, 2014, the Saints released Greer. This happened three months after he tore his left ACL. An ACL tear is a serious knee injury. The team released him to save money.

After football, Greer became an NFL Analyst for TSN in Canada. He also works as a college football analyst for SEC Network. Greer was also a broadcaster for Your Call Football. This was an interactive game where fans could call plays for players.
Personal Life
Jabari Greer became a single father after his wife, Katrina, passed away. He started a non-profit group called the Greer Campaign. This foundation helps both single and married fathers. It offers programs to help them improve their parenting skills.
