He played as a tight end in the National Football League (NFL) for teams like the New England Patriots and the Houston Texans. A tight end is a player who can both block for his teammates and catch passes.

Jabari Holloway was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He grew up loving football and played the sport throughout his school years. His journey to becoming a professional player started early.
High School and College Years
Jabari went to Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone, Georgia. After high school, he continued to play football at the college level. He attended the University of Notre Dame, a well-known school for its strong football program. Playing for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, he showed great skill as a tight end.
Playing in the NFL
In 2001, Jabari Holloway was chosen by the New England Patriots in the fourth round of the 2001 NFL draft. The NFL Draft is where professional teams pick new players from colleges. He played for the Patriots during the 2001 season. During this time, he was part of the team that won Super Bowl XXXVI, a huge championship game in American football.
After his time with the Patriots, Jabari moved to the Houston Texans. He played for the Texans during the 2002 and 2003 seasons. Over his two years playing professionally, he played in 26 games and started 17 of them. He caught 15 passes for a total of 157 yards. Later, he briefly joined the Washington Redskins in 2005 before ending his playing career.
