Jack Thomas Nowell, born on April 11, 1993, is a professional rugby union player from England. He plays for a team called La Rochelle in France's Top 14 league. Jack also plays for the England national team. He usually plays as a wing, but he can also play as a full-back or centre.

Jack Nowell's Club Career
Jack Nowell started his rugby journey with the Cornish Pirates junior team. He went to Mounts Bay Academy and then Truro and Penwith College. There, he studied Sport Performance and Excellence.
Playing for Exeter Chiefs
On November 25, 2012, Jack made his first big league appearance for Exeter Chiefs. This was in a match against London Irish, which Exeter won 27–23. Jack quickly became a regular player for the Chiefs. He even won the LV=Breakthrough Player Award for the 2012–13 season. This award is given to a new player who shows great skill.
In May 2016, Jack helped Exeter reach their first ever Premiership final. They finished second in the league and won their semi-final against Wasps. Even though Jack scored a try in the final, Exeter finished as runners-up to Saracens.
The very next season, Jack scored another try in the league final. This time, Exeter beat Wasps in extra-time to win their first ever Premiership title!
Jack also played in the 2020 European Rugby Champions Cup Final in 2020. Exeter beat Racing to become champions of Europe for the first time. The following weekend, Exeter defeated Wasps again in the Premiership final. This meant they won both the league and the European title in the same season.
Jack Nowell's International Career
Playing for England
In 2011, Jack was part of the England under-18 team that toured Australia. In 2013, he played for the England national under-20 team. They won the 2013 Six Nations Under 20s Championship. Jack was also chosen for the 2013 IRB Junior World Championship. He scored a try in the final, helping England beat Wales to become junior world champions for the first time.
In January 2014, Jack was called up to the senior England squad. He made his debut on February 1, 2014, against France. He scored his first international try against Italy later that year.
Jack also played in the 2015 Six Nations Championship. He scored his first try at Twickenham Stadium against Scotland. In the final game against France, England needed to win by at least 27 points to win the title. Jack scored two tries, but England didn't reach the target. They finished second to Ireland.
Jack was part of the squad for the 2015 Rugby World Cup. He scored three tries in his only game during the tournament, against Uruguay. England, as the host nation, did not make it past the group stage. Jack is one of only six players to score three tries in a Rugby World Cup game for England.
New coach Eddie Jones picked Jack for the 2016 Six Nations Championship. Jack scored a try in the first game against Scotland. He played in all five games as England won their first Grand Slam in over ten years. Later that year, he scored a try against Australia during England's tour. England won all three games in that series.
In the 2017 Six Nations Championship, Jack scored two tries against Italy. He also played in the final game where England lost to Ireland. This loss ended England's record of eighteen straight wins.
Jack scored a try in a draw with Scotland in the 2019 Six Nations Championship. He was part of the England squad that finished second at the 2019 Rugby World Cup. An injury meant he only played one game, coming off the bench to score against Argentina. After the World Cup, he did not play for England again until the 2022 Six Nations Championship.
Playing for the British and Irish Lions
In April 2017, Jack was chosen to play for the British & Irish Lions. This was for their tour to New Zealand. He was the first player from Exeter Chiefs to be picked for the Lions. Jack played as a substitute in the second and third games of the series. The series ended in a draw.
