Jackie Chan is a world-famous actor, director, and stuntman from Hong Kong. He is known for his amazing action movies, especially those that mix martial arts with funny slapstick comedy. He often performs very dangerous stunts himself!
Jackie started his film journey as a child actor in 1962. Later, he worked as a stuntman for the legendary Bruce Lee in films like Fist of Fury (1972) and Enter the Dragon (1973). His big break came with the kung fu action comedy Snake in the Eagle's Shadow in 1978. After that, he became super popular with movies like Drunken Master (1978) and The Young Master (1980). In these films, he started to create the amazing stunt sequences he is famous for.
In 1983, Jackie officially formed the Jackie Chan Stunt Team. This was when his unique style truly shined: incredible, risky stunts combined with martial arts and humor.
