The Story of Kung Fu Panda 2
Po (voiced by Jack Black) is now a true Kung Fu master. He protects the Valley of Peace with his friends, the Furious Five. But Po needs to find "inner peace" to become even stronger. His teacher, Master Shifu (voiced by Dustin Hoffman), sends him on a journey.
Their quest is to stop Lord Shen (voiced by Gary Oldman) in Gongmen City. Shen is an evil albino peacock. He has created a new weapon that can destroy kung fu forever. Po faces a big challenge on this journey. He is worried about what happened to his real parents.
An old goat named Soothsayer (voiced by Michelle Yeoh) helps Po. She helps him remember his past. Po's parents sent him away as a baby to keep him safe. This happened when Lord Shen attacked their village many years ago. Shen had learned that a warrior of black and white would defeat him.
Knowing his true past helps Po find his inner peace. He then destroys Shen's cannons by throwing the cannonballs back at them. Po defeats Shen, who is crushed by his own weapon. Finally, Po accepts Mr. Ping (voiced by James Hong) as his loving adoptive dad.
