Jacky Wu (Chinese: 吳宗憲; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Ngô͘ Chong-hiàn; born on September 26, 1962) is a famous television host, singer, and actor from Taiwan. He is well-known for hosting many popular variety shows. One of his most famous shows is Guess, which ran for a long time.

Jacky Wu's Career
Jacky Wu began his career in 1987. He started by appearing in small roles on variety shows. People quickly noticed him for his quick wit and lively way of speaking.
Early Achievements
In 1998, Jacky Wu lent his voice to a character in a big Disney movie. He was the voice of the dragon Mushu in the Mandarin Chinese version of the animated film Mulan.
A writer from Time Asia magazine once called him a "phenomenon." They said he was the most popular person on local television in Taiwan. In 2000, a TV channel called Channel V gave him an award. He was named "Favorite Chinese Person of the Year." By 2001, he was hosting six different variety talk shows in Taiwan.

In 2016, he won for "Best Host in a Variety Show." He won this award with his oldest daughter, Sandy, for their show Super Followers. In 2017 and 2018, he won for "Best Host in a Reality or Game Show." He won these awards with Kid (Lin Bo-sheng) for their show Mr. Player.
Jacky Wu is one of the most popular and successful entertainers in Taiwan. He received an honorary bachelor's degree from his university. This was for his great contributions to the entertainment industry in Taiwan.
Personal Life
Jacky Wu's father is Cantonese, and his mother is Taiwanese. He married Chang Wei-wei in 1990. They had a simple ceremony with their parents. Jacky Wu and Chang Wei-wei have four children. They have three daughters named Sandy, Vivian, and Olivia. They also have one son named Ricky. They officially registered their marriage in 2001.
