Jacob Artist is an American actor, singer, and dancer. He was born on October 17, 1992. Jacob is well-known for playing Jake Puckerman in the TV show Glee. He also played Brandon Fletcher in the drama series Quantico.

Early Life and Education
Jacob Artist was born in Buffalo, New York. His parents are Darrell and Judith Artist. He grew up in a town called Williamsville, New York. His father is African American, and his mother has Polish family roots. Jacob has a younger sister named Jenna. He took music lessons at the Community Music School in Buffalo.
In 2010, Jacob finished high school early. He graduated from Williamsville South High School. He was accepted into the Juilliard School for dance. However, he decided not to go to Juilliard. Instead, he chose to follow his dream of becoming an actor.
Acting Career Highlights
After high school, Jacob Artist moved to Los Angeles. This is where he started his acting career.

Jacob appeared in an episode of the TV show Bucket & Skinner's Epic Adventures. He also acted in the television movie Blue Lagoon: The Awakening. These roles helped him get started in the entertainment world.

In July 2012, Jacob got a big role in the TV show Glee. He played Jake Puckerman. Jake was the younger half-brother of another character, Noah "Puck" Puckerman. Jacob first appeared in the fourth season of Glee. He became a main cast member for the fifth season. By the time the show ended in 2015, he had been in 36 episodes.

In 2015, Jacob Artist joined the TV series Quantico. He played Brandon Fletcher. This character was an FBI recruit training at an academy. Jacob was also a guest star in an episode of the horror series American Horror Story: Roanoke. He played a character named Todd Connors.
Later, Jacob acted alongside famous actors like John Cusack in the thriller movie Blood Money. He also had a repeating role in the second season of The Arrangement. In that show, he played Wes Blaker.

In 2019, Jacob Artist had a recurring role as Isaac in the comedy series Now Apocalypse. This show was created by filmmaker Gregg Araki. It was Jacob's third time working with Araki.
