Early Life and Education
Jacques Andreani was born in Paris, France. He went to two very important schools in France: Sciences Po and ÉNA. These schools train people for careers in government and international relations.
After his studies, he worked in Paris. He learned Russian and studied about Eastern European countries. Then, he was sent to Moscow, the capital of Russia. He was there during some very tense times of the Cold War. The Cold War was a period of political tension between the United States and the Soviet Union.

While in Moscow, Jacques Andreani experienced two major events:
