Jade Bridget Clarke is a famous English netball player. She was born in Manchester, England, on October 17, 1983. Jade is known for playing in the midcourt, often as a defender.
She joined the England national netball team in 2002. Her first big game for England was in 2003 against New Zealand. Jade has played in many major tournaments. This includes six Netball World Cups and four Commonwealth Games. She is England's most-capped player, meaning she has played the most games for her country.

Jade Clarke's Club Netball Journey
Jade Clarke started her club career in the Netball Superleague in England. She played for Loughborough Lightning for four seasons. After that, she moved to Northern Thunder for a short time.
Playing in Australia and New Zealand
In 2010, Jade went to play in the ANZ Championship. This was a big netball league in Australia and New Zealand. She joined the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic team in New Zealand. Later, in 2012, she played for the Northern Mystics, another New Zealand team. She then moved to the Canterbury Tactix for two seasons.
After her time in New Zealand, Jade played for the New South Wales Swifts in Sydney, Australia, in 2015. She was an important international player for them.
Returning to England and Australia
In 2015, Jade returned to England to play for Loughborough Lightning again. However, she soon went back to Australia in 2016. She joined the Adelaide Thunderbirds and played there until 2018.
When she came back to England in 2018, she played for Wasps Netball. In 2020, Jade became the first player for a new team called Leeds Rhinos. In 2023, she joined London Pulse.
Jade Clarke's International Career
Jade Clarke's first game for England was in 2003 in her hometown of Manchester. She played against New Zealand.
Captaining England
In 2011, Jade became the captain of the England team. She took over after Karen Atkinson retired. As captain, she led England to win their first-ever gold medal in the 2011 World Netball Series.
Major Achievements with England
Jade was a key player when England won the gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. This was a huge moment for English netball. She also played in the 2019 Netball World Cup.
On January 25, 2023, Jade Clarke reached a special milestone. She became only the second netball player ever to play 200 international games for her country. For her amazing contributions to netball, she was given the Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) award in 2023.
