Jade Bridget Clarke, born on October 17, 1983, in Manchester, England, is a famous English netball player. She is known for her amazing skills as a midcourt defender. Jade has played for the England national netball team since 2002, making her first senior appearance in 2003.
Throughout her long career, she has competed in six Netball World Cups and four Commonwealth Games. Jade Clarke holds the record as England's most-capped netball player. This means she has played in more international games for England than anyone else! She was also awarded the Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 2023 for her great contributions to netball.

Playing for Netball Clubs
Jade Clarke started her club netball journey in the Netball Superleague in England. She played for Loughborough Lightning for four seasons. After that, she moved to Northern Thunder for a short time.
Playing in Australia and New Zealand
In 2010, Jade got the chance to play in the ANZ Championship. This is a big netball league in Australia and New Zealand. She joined the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic team in New Zealand.
Later, in 2012, she signed with another New Zealand team, the Northern Mystics. She then played for the Canterbury Tactix for two seasons. In 2015, Jade moved to Australia to play for the New South Wales Swifts in Sydney.
Returning to England
After playing overseas, Jade Clarke returned to England. In 2016, she rejoined Loughborough Lightning. However, she soon went back to Australia to play for the Adelaide Thunderbirds until 2018.
When she came back to England in 2018, she joined Wasps Netball. In 2020, Jade was announced as the first player for the new team, Leeds Rhinos Netball. In 2023, she started playing for London Pulse.
Playing for England
Jade Clarke made her first international appearance for England in 2003. This special game was in her home city of Manchester against New Zealand.
Becoming England's Captain
In 2011, Jade was named the captain of the England team. She took over after Karen Atkinson retired. As captain, she led England to win their first-ever gold medal at the 2011 World Netball Series.
Major Achievements
On September 21, 2014, Jade Clarke was honored by being added to the England Netball Hall of Fame. This is a very special recognition for her contributions to the sport.
She was a key player in the England team that won a gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. This was a historic win for England netball! She also played in the 2019 Netball World Cup.
On January 25, 2023, Jade reached an incredible milestone. She became only the second netball player ever to play 200 international games. This shows her amazing dedication and long career in the sport.
