Jagger Geoffrey Eaton (born February 21, 2001) is an American professional skateboarder. He competes in both street and park skateboarding events. Jagger made history as the youngest ever X Games competitor at age 11. This record was later broken in 2019.

In 2021, Jagger won the first ever Olympic skateboarding medal. He earned a bronze medal in the men's street competition in Tokyo, Japan. He then won a silver medal in the 2024 Olympic men's street event at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France.

Early Life and Family

Jagger Eaton grew up with his older brother, Jett. Their father, Geoff Eaton, owns a skateboard school called Kids That Rip (KTR). This school helps train many young X Games competitors. Both Jagger and Jett started skateboarding at a very young age. Jagger began when he was just four years old. His mother, Shelly Schaerer, was also a talented athlete. She was part of the United States national gymnastics team from 1985 to 1989.

Skateboarding Career Highlights

Jagger and his brother Jett, along with another young skater named Tom Schaar, were sponsored by DC Shoes in 2012. This was part of their "DC Youth Division" program. A skateboarding magazine called Transworld Skateboarding even called the brothers "the future of vert skating". Vert skating involves riding on large ramps.

Jagger was featured in Esquire Magazine in October 2013. He also appeared on TV shows like Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory and Ridiculousness in 2015. In September 2016, a reality TV series about him called Jagger Eaton's Mega Life aired on Nickelodeon. He even appeared on an episode of WWE SmackDown with The Miz.

Some people in the skateboarding world have discussed how young athletes like Jagger compete in professional events. They wonder if there should be separate divisions for younger skaters.

As of December 2022, Jagger Eaton has several sponsors. These companies support him with gear and funding. His sponsors include Cariuma Shoes, The Heart Supply Skateboards, Red Bull, Bones Wheels, Independent Truck Company, Mob Griptape, and his family's KTR Skateboard School.
