Vernor Vivian "Jake" Forbes (born July 4, 1897, in Toronto, Ontario – died December 30, 1985) was a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender. He was known by nicknames like "Jake" and "Jumpin' Jackie."

Jake Forbes played for thirteen seasons in the NHL, which is the top professional ice hockey league in North America. He played for several teams during his career, including the Toronto St. Patricks, Hamilton Tigers, New York Americans, and Philadelphia Quakers.
