Janice Robinson (born December 8, 1967) is an American singer and songwriter. She first became known as a member of the 1990s Italian Eurodance group Livin' Joy. With them, she had a huge global dance hit called "Dreamer". Later, she started her own music career as a solo artist.

Janice Robinson was born in Garfield, New Jersey. She has two daughters named Kura and Amaya.
Early Music Career
Janice started her music journey early. In the early 1990s, she toured as a singer for the group Snap!. She then became the lead singer for the Italian house music group Livin' Joy.
With Livin' Joy, Janice gained worldwide success. Their most famous song was "Dreamer". This song became number one in the UK and a top 10 hit in many other European countries. Janice also worked with Livin' Joy's producers on other songs like "Children" and "Sweetest Day of May".
Solo Music and Return
After leaving Livin' Joy in 1999, Janice started her solo career. Her first solo album, The Color Within Me, came out in 1999. It was more of a pop album. She had a small pop hit with the song "Nothing I Would Change".
In 2000, Janice toured America. She was an opening act for the legendary singer Tina Turner. Later, her big hit "Dreamer" was re-released in 2005 with new music and vocals. This new version, "Dreamer '05", became a top five hit on the US Dance charts.
Janice took a break from music to raise her two daughters and care for her parents.
Recent Music and TV Appearances
In 2015, Janice returned to music. She released a song called "There Must Be Love" with David Morales. This song was very popular, especially in Italy. In 2017, she released another single called "Father".
In 2018, Janice surprised many people by appearing on The X Factor in the UK. She told the judges that she was the voice and songwriter behind the famous song "Dreamer". She made it to the live shows and finished in 14th place.
After The X Factor, Janice toured the UK and other countries in 2019. She also released a new song called "Freedom" with DJ David Morales again.
In 2021 and 2022, Janice continued to perform. She also announced that she was working on a documentary about her life story. In January 2022, she shared on BBC Radio 2 that new music was coming. She released "Essex Girls" with British rappers and a brand new version of "Dreamer" in February 2022. She was excited to reach a new generation of fans. She also released "Love Comes Once in Your Life" with OMG Collective.
