Jason Clarke (born on July 17, 1969) is an actor from Australia. He has been in many TV shows and is well-known for playing Tommy Caffee in the TV series Brotherhood. Jason Clarke has also acted in many movies, often playing characters who are against the main heroes. Some of his famous film roles include Zero Dark Thirty (2012), White House Down (2013), Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014), and Oppenheimer (2023). In 2022, he played Jerry West, a former basketball player and coach, in the HBO sports drama series Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty.

Early Life of Jason Clarke
Jason Clarke was born and grew up in Winton, Queensland, Australia. His father worked as a sheep shearer in the countryside of South Australia. His family also lived in North Queensland, where Jason finished high school at Ignatius Park College.
In 1987, Jason started studying law. However, before he finished, he decided he wanted to be an actor instead. He then joined the Sydney Actor's Studio. Later, he studied at the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne and graduated in 1994.
Jason Clarke's Acting Career
Jason Clarke has appeared in many Australian TV shows. These include Murder Call, Home and Away, Heartbreak High, and Blue Heelers. He played Tommy Caffee in the Showtime series Brotherhood. He also acted in movies like Rabbit-Proof Fence and Death Race.
In 2009, Clarke played "Red" Hamilton in the film Public Enemies. He was cast in the thriller movie Texas Killing Fields in 2010. He also played Detective Jarek Wysocki in the 2011 Fox TV series The Chicago Code. In the 2012 film Zero Dark Thirty, he played Dan, a CIA interrogator.
Clarke had a big role in the 2012 crime film Lawless. He played George Wilson in the 2013 remake of The Great Gatsby. Also in 2013, he played Emil Stenz, a tough terrorist leader, in White House Down.
In 2014, he played Malcolm in the popular movie Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. In the 2015 film Terminator Genisys, Clarke played John Connor. This movie earned over $440 million around the world. In 2019, Clarke starred as Louis Creed in the new movie based on Stephen King's book, Pet Sematary. In 2023, he played Roger Robb in Christopher Nolan's historical movie Oppenheimer. He also played Lieutenant Barney Greenwald in The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial.
