Jason Sidney Love, born on September 15, 1987, is an American basketball coach and former player. He currently works as an assistant coach for the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA. Before becoming a coach, he played college basketball at Xavier University.
Playing Career
Jason Love played basketball in college for the Xavier Musketeers from 2006 to 2010. He was a strong player, known for his skills as a power forward and center. In 2010, he was named to the Third-team All-Atlantic 10, which means he was one of the best players in his college conference.
Playing Overseas
After college, Jason Love wasn't chosen in the 2010 NBA draft. However, he continued his basketball journey by playing professionally overseas.
- Belgium: In 2011, he started his professional career in Belgium with VOO Wolves Verviers-Pepinster. He then played for other Belgian teams like Antwerp Giants and Belfius Mons-Hainaut. He even returned to Belfius Mons-Hainaut later in his career.
- Israel: In 2015, Jason played for Maccabi Kiryat Gat in Israel.
- Turkey and Ukraine: He also played in Turkey for TED Ankara Kolejliler and in Ukraine for Khimik.
- Argentina: From 2018 to 2023, he played for Unión de Santa Fe in Argentina, which was his last team as a player.

Starting in the NBA
In 2023, Jason Love joined the coaching staff of the Philadelphia 76ers. He worked as an assistant coach under head coach Nick Nurse. This was his first coaching role in the NBA.
Milwaukee Bucks
In 2024, Jason Love moved to the Milwaukee Bucks. He became an assistant coach for the Bucks, working with head coach Doc Rivers. In 2024, he also helped the Bucks win the NBA Cup, a special tournament held during the NBA season.
