Jason Douglas Rogers, born on March 13, 1988, is a former American professional baseball player. He was a first baseman. Jason played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for teams like the Milwaukee Brewers and Pittsburgh Pirates. He also played in Japan for the Hanshin Tigers.

Playing Career Highlights
Starting with the Brewers
The Milwaukee Brewers baseball team chose Jason Rogers in the 2010 MLB Draft. He was playing for Columbus State University at the time. In 2013, Jason was named the Brewers' best minor league player. He hit 22 home runs that year! He usually played first base, but he also learned to play third base.
Jason first played in Major League Baseball on September 2, 2014. On May 9, 2015, he hit his very first home run in the big leagues! It was a three-run homer. In 2015, he played 86 games for the Brewers. He hit 4 home runs and had 16 RBIs (Runs Batted In).
Playing for the Pirates
On December 17, 2015, Jason was traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates. He played for them in 2016.
Time with the Hanshin Tigers
On July 7, 2017, Jason signed with the Hanshin Tigers in Japan. This league is called Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB). In 2017, Jason hit 5 home runs and had 23 RBIs for the Tigers.
Independent League Baseball
After playing in Japan, Jason joined the New Britain Bees in 2018. This team is part of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball, which is an independent league. He played for them again in 2019.
In 2021, Jason signed with the Gastonia Honey Hunters, another team in the Atlantic League. He played well, hitting 3 home runs in 17 games. Later that year, he also played for the Algodoneros de Unión Laguna in Mexico. He returned to the Gastonia Honey Hunters for a second time in July 2021.
Player-Coach Role
In 2022, Jason joined the Lincoln Saltdogs as a player-coach. This means he played on the team and also helped coach his teammates. He continued to play for them in 2023. In September 2023, he briefly played for the Gastonia Honey Hunters again before returning to the Lincoln Saltdogs in October 2023.
