Jawann Oldham (born July 4, 1957) is an American former professional basketball player. He was a tall player, known for playing the "center" position, which is usually for the tallest player on the team. He was chosen by the Denver Nuggets in the 1980 NBA draft. He played for many teams in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for ten seasons.

Early Life and College Basketball

Jawann Oldham was born in Chicago, Illinois. He grew up in Seattle, Washington. He went to Cleveland High School there. After high school, he played college basketball at Seattle University. During his time in college, he scored 1,530 points and grabbed 965 rebounds. These are impressive numbers for a college player! After his successful college career, he was picked by the Denver Nuggets in the 1980 NBA draft.

Jawann Oldham had a long career in the NBA. He played in 329 games in total. During these games, he scored 1,455 points. He played for several well-known teams, including the Denver Nuggets, Houston Rockets, Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks, Sacramento Kings, Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Lakers, and Indiana Pacers. He was also the last player for the Chicago Bulls to wear the number 33 jersey before the famous player Scottie Pippen wore it.
