Jawann Oldham was born in Chicago, Illinois. He grew up in Seattle, Washington. He went to Cleveland High School there. After high school, he played college basketball at Seattle University. During his time in college, he scored 1,530 points and grabbed 965 rebounds. These are impressive numbers for a college player! After his successful college career, he was picked by the Denver Nuggets in the 1980 NBA draft.
