Jayley Woo Jia Qi (born 27 December 1991) is an Singaporean actress and businesswoman. She used to be a full-time artist with Mediacorp, a big media company in Singapore, from 2012 to 2018. Jayley has an identical twin sister named Hayley Woo, who is also an actress. Jayley is the younger of the two sisters.

Early Life and School
Jayley Woo was born in Singapore to parents from Malaysia. She went to school at Tanglin Secondary School. Later, she continued her studies at ITE College West, which was known as ITE Clementi back then.
Jayley's Acting Career
Before becoming an actress, Jayley Woo was a popular blogger. She wrote a blog with her twin sister, Hayley Woo, and they were known as "Jay On The Hay."
Starting in TV Shows
In 2012, Jayley started her acting journey. Her first TV show was Jump!, where she acted alongside famous stars like Jeanette Aw. Her role in this show was so good that she was nominated for the "Best Newcomer" award at the Star Awards 2013. This award celebrates new actors who show great talent.
Busy Years in Acting
The next few years were very busy for Jayley. In 2013, she appeared in several TV series, including C.L.I.F., 96°C Cafe, and The Dream Makers. She also had a small appearance, called a cameo, in the show Sudden.
In 2014, Jayley continued to film more shows. These included The Caregivers, C.L.I.F. 3, and Against The Tide. Her popularity grew, and she was nominated for the "Top 10 Most Popular Female Artistes" award at the Star Awards 2015. This award is voted on by the public. She went on to win this popular award in both Star Awards 2016 and Star Awards 2017.
In 2015, she acted in shows like You Can Be an Angel Too, Tiger Mom, and Super Senior. She also had a cameo in The Journey: Our Homeland.
First Main Roles
By 2016, Jayley got her first main role in a TV series called The Queen. This meant she was one of the most important characters in the show. That same year, she also filmed Beyond Words and Peace & Prosperity. She made cameo appearances in Hero and Soul Reaper, which was a show made for Toggle, an online streaming service.
In 2017, she continued to take on new roles in shows like Dream Coder, Have A Little Faith, and Life Less Ordinary.
Moving On from Mediacorp
In 2018, Jayley finished filming for a Toggle show called Love At Cavenagh Bridge and a science fiction English series called Glitch!. She also starred in Jalan Jalan.
In July 2018, Jayley Woo decided to leave Mediacorp as a full-time artist. She shared on Facebook that she would still be acting in suitable roles, even though she was no longer a full-time artist with the company. It was reported that she was looking for new opportunities, possibly in other countries like China.
Jayley's Personal Life
Jayley Woo was in a relationship with actor Aloysius Pang. Their relationship started in 2017. After Aloysius Pang sadly passed away in 2019, Jayley shared that they had planned to tell everyone about their relationship after they got married.
On 23 October 2022, Jayley announced some exciting news: she was engaged to Bryan Tan and was also expecting a baby! Bryan Tan works as a senior director for business development at PCCW Media Group, which runs Viu in Southeast Asia. Jayley and Bryan officially registered their marriage on 27 December 2022. Their daughter, Jan Tan, was born on 20 January 2023.
Their daughter's name, Jan, comes from the month she was born, January. She also has a cute nickname, "Fried Egg," which comes from a Chinese slang term for her English name.
