Jeff Jonathan Mills is a former American football player. He played as a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). He played for the San Diego Chargers and Denver Broncos. He was also part of the New York Giants. Jeff was born on October 8, 1968.

Jeff Mills' Early Life and College Football
Jeff Mills grew up in Montclair, New Jersey. He went to Montclair High School there.
He played college football for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. This was at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. He played from 1986 to 1989. He was a key player for three years. In 1989, his senior year, he was named first-team All-Big Eight. This showed he was one of the best players in his college conference.
Jeff Mills' Professional Football Career
Joining the San Diego Chargers
The San Diego Chargers picked Jeff Mills in the 1990 NFL draft. He was chosen in the third round. He was the 57th player picked overall. He officially joined the team on June 28, 1990.
He played in five games for the Chargers in 1990. He then got injured and was put on injured reserve. Later, the Chargers let him go from the team.
Playing for the Denver Broncos
The Denver Broncos picked up Jeff Mills on December 21, 1990. He played in two games for them that same year. In 1991, he played in 12 games. He started three of those games. He also made three sacks that year. He even played in one playoff game.
In 1992, Jeff played in 14 games. He recorded two sacks and recovered two fumbles. He continued to play for the Broncos in 1993. He appeared in 13 games that season. After the 1993 season, he became a free agent.
Time with the New York Giants
Jeff Mills signed with the New York Giants on October 5, 1994. However, he did not play in any games for them. He was released by the team on November 11, 1994.
