Jennifer Winget (born May 30, 1985) is a famous Indian actress who mainly works in Hindi television shows. She is known as one of the most successful and popular actresses in India. Over her career, she has won many awards, including two ITA Awards and two Indian Telly Awards.
Jennifer began her acting career as a child in the 1995 movie Akele Hum Akele Tum. She first appeared on television in 2002 in the show Shaka Laka Boom Boom. She became well-known for playing Sneha Bajaj in Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Dr. Riddhima Gupta in Dill Mill Gayye.
She became a leading actress with her roles as Kumud Desai in Saraswatichandra, Maya Mehrotra in Beyhadh, and Zoya Siddiqui in Bepannah. For her work in Saraswatichandra and Beyhadh, she won awards for Best Actress. Jennifer also starred in the web series Code M, which earned her a nomination for a Filmfare OTT Award.

Early Life
Jennifer Winget was born on May 30, 1985, in Bombay (now called Mumbai), India. Her mother, Prabha, is a Punjabi Hindu, and her father, Hemant Winget, is a Maharashtrian Christian. Because of her Western first name, some people are surprised to learn she is from India.
Acting Career
Starting as a Young Actor (1995–2009)
Jennifer started her career as a child actor. She was in the 1995 film Akele Hum Akele Tum and the 1997 film Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat. At age 15, she appeared in the movie Raja Ko Rani Se Pyar Ho Gaya.
Her first big role on television was in the show Karthika. She played a struggling singer who dreamed of becoming famous. After that, she played Sneha in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, and her performance was highly praised. She also acted in other popular shows like Kyaa Hoga Nimmo Kaa and Sangam.
In 2008, she competed in the dance reality show Zara Nach Ke Dikha 1 and won. After her win, she hosted the second season of the show and other comedy programs.
Becoming a Star (2010–2015)
In 2009, Jennifer joined the popular medical show Dill Mill Gayye as Dr. Riddhima Gupta. The show was about a group of young doctors working at a hospital.
In 2013, she starred in the TV show Saraswatichandra as Kumud Desai. The show told a classic story of love and heartbreak between two soulmates, Saras and Kumud. For this role, Jennifer won the Indian Television Academy Award for Best Actress.
Major Success and Famous Roles (2016–2019)
After a two-year break, Jennifer returned in 2016 with the TV series Beyhadh. She played Maya Mehrotra, a character with a complex and obsessive personality. This role was very different from her previous ones and earned her many fans and awards.
In 2018, she starred as Zoya Siddiqui in the romantic drama Bepannaah. The show is about two people, Zoya and Aditya, who meet after a tragedy and find love. Her acting was praised, and she won awards for this role, including a Gold Award and an Indian Telly Award.
In 2019, she returned to play Maya Jaisingh in Beyhadh 2, a follow-up to the first season.
Streaming and Recent Work (2020–present)
From 2020 to 2022, Jennifer starred in the web series Code M. She played Major Monica Mehra, an army lawyer investigating a serious case. Critics praised her performance, and she was nominated for a Filmfare OTT Award.
