Jennings is a small city located in Decatur County, Kansas, in the United States. In 2020, about 81 people lived there.

History of Jennings

The first post office in Jennings opened in 1874. It was first called Slab City until 1879.

The city of Jennings was officially planned out in 1888. It got its name from Warren Jennings, who owned land in the area.

Jennings was also a stop on the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad line. Many Czech immigrants chose Jennings to settle and start their farms.
