Jenny Kim (Korean: 김제니; born November 22, 1994) is a model from South Korea. She is famous for winning the Miss Supranational 2017 beauty pageant. Before that, she was chosen as Miss Universe Korea 2016 and took part in the Miss Universe 2016 competition.

Jenny Kim's Early Life and School

Jenny Kim was born in Seoul, South Korea, on November 22, 1994. When she was just one year old, her family moved to Indonesia. She lived in Jakarta from 1995 until she finished high school in 2013.
She went to two schools in Jakarta: Jakarta Intercultural School and Gandhi Memorial International School. She studied there for 13 years. After high school, Jenny moved back to Korea. She studied at Ewha Womans University. There, she earned two degrees in international office administration and English language and literature.
Jenny also volunteers as an interpreter at the National Museum of Indonesia in Jakarta. She can speak three languages: Korean, Indonesian, and English.
Jenny Kim's Journey in Beauty Pageants

Jenny believes that being from different cultures is her biggest strength in beauty pageants. She learned English in Indonesia, which helped her join international contests. Her high school teacher even encouraged her to compete. Jenny says she has more fans in Indonesia than in Korea.
After returning to Korea, she spent three years training hard. She practiced walking on stage, staying fit, giving speeches, and doing her makeup.
Miss World Korea 2015
Jenny Kim's first beauty pageant was Miss World Korea in December 2015. She did very well and was named the first runner-up. This means she came in second place.
Miss Universe 2016
Jenny was chosen to be Miss Universe Korea 2016. She then competed in the 65th Miss Universe 2016 pageant. This big event had 85 contestants from all over the world.
On January 30, 2017, Jenny was given the "Miss Congeniality" award. This award goes to the contestant who is the most friendly and helpful. It was the first time that Korea had won this special award at Miss Universe.
Winning Miss Supranational 2017
Jenny Kim competed in Miss Supranational 2017. The competition took place in Krynica-Zdrój, Poland, on December 1. Jenny was crowned the winner by the previous Miss Supranational, Srinidhi Ramesh Shetty.
This was a huge win for South Korea, as it was the first time someone from her country won this major title.
Jenny Kim's Activities as Miss Supranational
During her time as Miss Supranational 2017, Jenny Kim traveled to many countries. She visited Vietnam, China, Japan, Myanmar, Malaysia, India, and Indonesia. She attended the Miss Diva 2018 event in India. There, she gave interviews and shared tips with the contestants.
Jenny also attended the Puteri Indonesia 2018 beauty contest. She was an honorary judge at Puteri Indonesia 2019. In 2018, she helped present the International Emmy Kids Awards at the Cannes Film Festival. She also crowned Miss Supranational Vietnam 2018 in Seoul, South Korea.
In November 2018, as her reign as Miss Supranational was ending, all the Miss Supranational contestants in Poland threw a 25th birthday party for Jenny in Karpacz.
