Meet the Characters
- Jibber and Jabber: These seven-year-old twin brothers are the main characters. They are not identical, but they both have super active imaginations! They see their adventures exactly the same way. Jibber always wears a red shirt and has dark brown hair. Jabber wears a green shirt and has strawberry blonde hair.
- Jessica: She's Jibber and Jabber's older sister. In their pretend games, she often acts like a rival. In real life, she sometimes gets annoyed or embarrassed by their silly actions, especially when her best friend Marcy is around.
- Jelly Roll: This is Jibber, Jabber, and Jessica's dog. He usually just goes along with Jibber and Jabber's imaginary adventures without really knowing what's happening.
- Marcy: She is Jessica's best friend.
- Mom and Dad: These are Jibber, Jabber, and Jessica's parents. You never see them fully in the show, but you can hear their voices sometimes, and you might see their hands.
- Squirrel: This little squirrel appears in some episodes. Jibber and Jabber rarely notice him. He's often seen stealing Jelly Roll's food and is sometimes with another squirrel.
Imaginary Adventures
Jibber and Jabber's imaginations take them on all sorts of exciting adventures! Here are some of the types of pretend games they play:
- Pirates
- Astronauts
- Kung Fu masters

- Goth Victorians
- Superheroes
- Invisibles (people who can't be seen)
How the Show Was Made
Jibber Jabber was made using computer animation. A company called Northwest Imaging and FX (NWFX) in Vancouver, Canada, created the show. They worked with Jibber Jabber Toons Ltd. for the TV channel YTV. The show first aired on September 3, 2007.
This series was the first big animation project for NWFX. They hired 25 full-time animators and added 17 special computers to help create the show. Even though it's all computer-animated, the show was designed to look like stop-motion animation. This is a style where objects are moved slightly between each photo to make them look like they're moving.
Where to Watch It
The Jibber Jabber series has 26 short parts, each about 11 minutes long. These are usually shown as 13 half-hour episodes.
