James Charles McElroy Jr. (born October 4, 1953) is an American former professional basketball player. He was born in Cotton Plant, Arkansas. Jim played as a guard in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for several teams. He was known for his skills in scoring and passing the ball.

Playing for Central Michigan

Jim attended Central Michigan University. He played for their basketball team, the Central Michigan Chippewas. He was a very good player during his college years.
