Jimbo and the Jet-Set (often called Jimbo) is a fun British cartoon series from the 1980s. It's all about the exciting adventures of Jimbo, a special aeroplane who can talk and act like a person! The show was created by Maddocks Cartoon Productions and had 25 episodes between 1986 and 1987.
Jimbo was supposed to be a giant Jumbo Jet. But guess what? The person who designed him mixed up inches and centimetres! This mistake made Jimbo much smaller than planned. The cartoon takes place at a make-believe "London Airport." Here, an easily annoyed air traffic controller often ends episodes by shouting, "I want words with you, Jimbo!"

Meet Jimbo and His Airport Friends
Jimbo is the main character, a friendly aeroplane with a big personality. He often finds himself in funny or tricky situations.
The Airport Crew
Jimbo isn't alone at London Airport. He has many friends who are also talking vehicles:
