Park Jin-woo (Korean: 박진우), known as Jinjin (진진), is a South Korean artist. He was born on March 15, 1996. Jinjin is a talented rapper, singer, songwriter, and dancer. He is the leader of the popular K-pop boy group Astro. He was also part of a special music duo called Jinjin & Rocky.

Early Life and Dance
Jinjin was born in Seoul, South Korea. He went to Hanlim Multi Art School and studied practical dance. He also trained at NY Dance Academy in Ilsan. Jinjin took part in many dance competitions, showing his skills early on.
Becoming a K-pop Star
Training and First Steps
Jinjin trained for two years at a company called Fantagio. He was the fifth person to be introduced as a future member of Astro. Before their official debut, Jinjin and the other Astro members starred in a web-drama. It was called To Be Continued.
Debut with Astro
Jinjin officially debuted with Astro on February 23, 2016. Astro is a six-member boy group. Their first album was called Spring Up. It had five songs, including their main song "Hide & Seek". In July 2016, Jinjin performed with singer Eric Nam on stage.
Creative Work and Collaborations
Jinjin is also a songwriter. In November 2018, he was part of a TV show called "Wok the World" in Hong Kong. He performed his own song "Mad Max" at an Astro concert. He also helped write "Bloom" for Astro's album All Light.
In March 2019, Jinjin and fellow Astro member MJ were on a travel show. It was called Go Together, Travel Alone. They visited Saipan for the show. In May 2020, Jinjin wrote another song for Astro. It was called "Lights On" and was on their album Gateway.
New Projects and Sub-unit
In March 2021, Jinjin started hosting a podcast called Unboxing. He hosted it with Pentagon's Kino. In December 2021, Jinjin helped write and arrange a song called "Villain" for the boy group Trendz.
Fantagio announced that Jinjin and Rocky would form a new duo. This duo was called Jinjin & Rocky. They released their first album, Restore, on January 17, 2022.
Recent Activities
Duo Debut and Solo Music
Jinjin's duo with Rocky, Jinjin & Rocky, released their album Restore on January 17, 2022. In December 2022, Jinjin renewed his contract with Fantagio.
On February 28, 2023, Rocky left Fantagio and Astro. This meant the duo sub-unit ended. On October 19, 2023, Jinjin released a solo song. It was called 'Wave in my heart' and featured Yunhway.
JIN LAB Project
Jinjin started a special music project called "JIN LAB Project". On March 20, 2024, he released the first song from this project, 'Good Enough'. On April 19, 2024, he released a song called 'Fly' with Moonbin. This song was a gift for fans who missed Moonbin.
He continued to release new songs for his "JIN LAB Project" throughout 2024. These songs included 'For me', 'Self-esteem', 'You', 'Farewell Letter', 'Carry On', 'Here', 'Runaway', and 'Beat that Drum'.
Jinjin held his first solo concert, "JIN LAB Vol1. Find Your Groove", on February 16, 2025, in South Korea.
