Joel Glazer (born March 31, 1967) is an American businessman who owns sports teams. He is part of the Glazer family, who own the Tampa Bay Buccaneers football team in the National Football League (NFL) and Manchester United football club in England's Premier League. The family lives in Florida.

Early life and education
Joel Glazer was born in Rochester, New York. His parents are Linda and Malcolm Glazer, who was also a businessman. Joel went to American University in Washington, D.C., where he studied different subjects.
Career
Owning the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Joel Glazer worked with his father, Malcolm, to buy the Tampa Bay Buccaneers football team in 1995. He also worked with his brother, Bryan, to get local support for building what is now Raymond James Stadium.
In 2002, Joel helped lead the Buccaneers to their first ever Super Bowl victory. They won against the Oakland Raiders on January 26, 2003. In 2021, the Buccaneers made history by being the first team to play in a Super Bowl in their own home stadium. They won Super Bowl LV, which gave the Glazer family their second championship title.
Joel Glazer is a co-chairman of the Buccaneers. He has represented the team at all league meetings since 1995. He is very involved in many NFL topics. In 2019, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell made Joel the chairman of the International Committee. He also works on the league's Finance, Media, and Sports Betting committees.
Leading Manchester United
Joel Glazer is also a co-chairman of Manchester United, a famous football club in England. During his time with the club, Manchester United has won many important titles. These include five Premier League titles (2007, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2013) and one Champions League title (2008). They also won five League Cups (2006, 2009, 2010, 2017, 2023), one FA Cup (2016), and one Europa League title (2017).

The museum opened in 2010 and was named one of the Top Ten Family Museums in the country by Women's Day magazine. In 2011, the Tampa Bay Sports Commission named the Glazer Family Foundation the "Foundation of the Year" for its wide-reaching charity work.
European Super League plan
In 2021, Joel Glazer played a big part in a plan to create a new football league called the European Super League. This league would have changed the way European football works, replacing the current system with a closed league that had no relegation or promotion. After many people strongly disagreed with the idea, Joel Glazer and others involved decided to stop the project.
