Jordan Hill is a small hill (about 50 meters high) located near the coast in Dorset, England. It sits just east of the town of Weymouth, close to the village of Preston. The hill slopes down towards Furzy Cliff on the coast. To its east, you'll find Bowleaze Cove, a popular beach area. From Jordan Hill, you can also see the famous Osmington White Horse, a large figure carved into a nearby hillside.

A Famous Painting
Jordan Hill has even inspired famous artists! In 1816–17, a well-known artist named John Constable painted a picture called Weymouth Bay: Bowleaze Cove and Jordon Hill. He created this painting while he was on his honeymoon. The painting shows the view from the beach, looking west towards Jordan Hill. You can see this famous artwork today at the National Gallery in London.
