Jorgie Porter (born on December 25, 1987) is a talented English actress and model. She is best known for her role as Theresa McQueen in the popular TV show Hollyoaks. She played this character from 2008 to 2016 and then returned to the show in 2020.

Early Life and Training

Jorgie Porter was born in Trafford, Greater Manchester, England, on Christmas Day in 1987. She grew up with her mom and grandma. When she was younger, Jorgie was a ballet dancer. She even went to The Hammond School in Chester, which is a special school for performing arts.

Starting on Hollyoaks

In November 2008, Jorgie joined the cast of the TV show Hollyoaks. She played the character Theresa McQueen, who was part of a well-known family on the show. Jorgie was very excited to be part of the cast.

In 2010, Jorgie and eight other actresses from different TV shows recorded a music video. They sang "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" to help raise money for Cancer Research UK's "Race for Life" campaign.

Dancing and Reality TV

Jorgie loves to dance! In August 2011, she took part in the ITV dance show Born to Shine. She learned street dance for the show, but she didn't make it to the final round.

In 2012, Jorgie became a contestant on Dancing on Ice. She was paired with a professional skater named Matt Evers. Jorgie did really well and made it all the way to the final, finishing in second place!

She decided to leave Hollyoaks for a while in 2013. After filming her last scenes, she returned to Dancing on Ice in 2014 for an "All Stars" series. This time, she was the first contestant to be voted off. But don't worry, she returned to Hollyoaks later that year!

In November 2015, Jorgie joined another popular reality show, I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!. She finished in 5th place on the show.

Other Acting and TV Roles

In 2016, Jorgie played Miss Croft in a special episode of the show Are You Being Served?. She also became the new face for a skincare brand called Proactiv in the UK. In 2017, she appeared on Celebs Go Dating, where celebrities try to find a date.
