José Manuel Losada (born in 1962) is a Spanish professor and expert in literature. He studies how myths appear in stories and how different literatures connect. He has written many books in Spanish, French, and English about these topics.

Early Studies and Degrees

José Manuel Losada earned his PhD from the University of the Sorbonne in 1990. Later, in 1999, he completed a special degree called a "habilitation" from the University of Nancy II. This degree allows him to lead research projects.

Professor Losada has taught at many famous universities around the world. He was an Assistant Professor at the University of Navarre in Spain. He also spent time as a Visiting Scholar at Harvard University and the University of Oxford in the UK.
