Joselyn Dumas (born 31 August 1980) is a famous Ghanaian television host and actress. In 2014, she starred in the movie A Northern Affair. This role helped her win a Ghana Movie Award and get nominated for an Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress.

Early Life and Education
Joselyn Dumas was born in Ghana. She spent her early years in Accra, the capital city of Ghana. She went to Morning Star School for her basic education. Later, she attended Archbishop Porter Girls High School, where she was in charge of entertainment. After high school, Joselyn went to the United States. There, she studied to get a degree in Administrative Law.

TV Host Career
Before becoming a TV star, Joselyn Dumas worked as a paralegal. This means she helped lawyers with their work. She then moved back to Ghana to follow her dream of working in television.
Her first TV job was hosting Rhythmz for Charter House. This was an entertainment show where she interviewed many celebrities. Later, she was chosen by ViaSat 1 to host their main talk show, The One Show. This show was on air from 2010 to 2014. Joselyn also hosted the TV talk show At Home with Joselyn Dumas, which was shown across Africa and parts of Europe.
Film Acting Career
Joselyn Dumas's role in the movie Perfect Picture really impressed the director. This led to her getting important roles in other movies. Her big break came two years later in the movie series Adams Apples by Shirley Frimpong-Manso.
In Adams Apples, she played the role of "Jennifer Adams." This role earned her a nomination for Best Actress in a lead role at the 2011 Ghana Movie Awards. Since then, Joselyn Dumas has played key roles in many movies and series. Some of these include Love or Something Like That, A Sting in a Tale, Perfect Picture, A Northern Affair, and Lekki Wives. She has acted alongside famous African actors like John Dumelo and Majid Michel from Ghana, and OC Ukeje from Nigeria.
Producing Movies and Shows
Joselyn Dumas also works behind the scenes as a producer. From 2008 to 2010, she helped produce Miss Malaika Ghana. This is a very well-known beauty pageant in Ghana.
She is also the founder and CEO of Virgo Sun Company Limited. This is a company that makes movies and TV shows. Under her leadership, the company helped produce its first movie, Love or Something Like that. This movie was supported by UNAIDS, an organization that fights against AIDS. Joselyn hopes to produce and invest in more TV shows and series, like V Republic. This is an exciting TV series produced by Sparrow Productions, with Virgo Sun as an executive producer.
Special Appearances and Endorsements
Joselyn Dumas appeared as the bride in Lynxx's popular song "Fine Lady," which featured Wizkid. She is also a Brand ambassador for Range Rover Evoque Ghana. She also represents Jobberman Ghana, a company that helps people find jobs.
Hosting Events
Joselyn Dumas has also hosted big events. She was a co-host with Ayo Makun at the 2018 Golden Movie Awards Africa. This event took place in Accra on June 2, 2018.
The Joselyn Canfor-Dumas Foundation
Joselyn Dumas cares a lot about helping others, especially children. Her strong desire to do good led her to create The Joselyn Canfor-Dumas Foundation (JCDF). This foundation aims to help children in need from all parts of Ghana. Currently, the JCD foundation is working on a project that focuses on supporting children with autism.
