Josep Antoni Duran i Lleida (born 27 March 1952) is a Spanish politician. He was born in Alcampell, Spain. He is also a qualified lawyer.
Duran i Lleida started his political journey in 1979. He was elected as a MP in the General Elections of Spain. He represented the area of Lleida. He also became a deputy mayor (tinent d'alcalde) in the city of Lleida.
He later became an MP for the Barcelona district. He was elected in the General Elections in 2004. He is a member of Convergence and Union (CiU). Duran i Lleida has also led the Democratic Union of Catalonia (UDC). This is a political party that is part of CiU. He was president from 1982 to 1984 and again since 1987.

Views on International Relations
In March 2012, Duran i Lleida spoke about Kosovo. He asked Spain to recognize Kosovo right away. He said the reasons for not recognizing it were "internal" to Spain.
In January 2007, Josep Antoni took on Gibraltar nationality. This was to show his views on certain Spanish government policies.
