Josephburg is a small community called a hamlet in Alberta, Canada. It is part of Strathcona County. You can find it on Highway 830, about 6.5 kilometers (4 miles) east of Fort Saskatchewan.
This hamlet is close to Alberta's Industrial Heartland. This area has many important petrochemical industries. Josephburg also has its own small airport, the Warren Thomas (Josephburg) Aerodrome. It helps serve the county and the industrial area. Josephburg was first settled by German immigrants in the 1890s.
