Joshua Baret Henderson (born October 25, 1981) is an American actor, model, and singer. He is famous for playing John Ross Ewing III in the TV show Dallas (2012–2014). He also played Austin McCann in the series Desperate Housewives (2006–2007). You might also know him from movies like Step Up. Josh first became well-known after winning a spot in the pop group Scene 23 on the TV show Popstars 2.

Josh Henderson was born in Dallas, Texas. He grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and finished high school there.

Starting with Music: Popstars
Josh began his career on the reality TV show Popstars in 2001. He won a spot in the music group Scene 23. After the group, Josh continued to sing, act, and model. He even appeared in ads for Skechers shoes.
Early TV Roles and First Movies
Josh appeared in many TV shows early in his career. These include Maybe It's Me, Do Over, and 8 Simple Rules... for Dating My Teenage Daughter.
His first movie was the horror film Leeches! in 2003. The next year, he was in The Girl Next Door.
Big Roles in TV and Film
In 2005, Josh got a main role in the drama series Over There. He is also well-known for his part in the dance movie Step Up (2006). In this movie, he played the boyfriend of Jenna Dewan's character.
He also starred in horror movies like Fingerprints (2006) and April Fool's Day (2008). In 2009, he was in the romantic comedy The Jerk Theory. He even recorded the soundtrack album for that movie!

The new Dallas show started in June 2012. Many critics said Josh was the "breakout star" of the series. People also liked his acting with Julie Gonzalo, who played Pamela Rebecca Barnes. The show ran for three seasons until 2014.
Recent Work
In 2015, Josh was cast as the main male actor in the TV series The Arrangement. He played Kyle West, a very popular Hollywood actor. This show ended after two seasons in 2018.
In 2019, he starred in a Christmas movie for the Hallmark Channel called Time For Me To Come Home For Christmas.
