Joshua Sutton Huestis, born on December 19, 1991, is a former American professional basketball player. He played for the Oklahoma City Thunder in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Before turning pro, he played college basketball at Stanford University.

Early Life and High School Basketball
Josh Huestis grew up in Webster, Texas. He later moved to Great Falls, Montana. There, he attended Charles M. Russell High School.
He was a talented basketball player in high school. Experts saw him as one of the top power forwards in the country in 2010.
College Career at Stanford
Huestis played basketball for four years at Stanford University. He was known for his strong defense. He averaged about 7.5 points and 6.2 rebounds per game.
He was named to the Pac-12 Defensive Team twice. This happened during his junior and senior years. He was also honored as the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year in 2014.
Huestis became Stanford's all-time leader in blocked shots. This means he blocked more shots than any other player in the school's history.
