Josh Parker's Football Journey
Starting at Queens Park Rangers
Josh Parker began his football career at Queens Park Rangers (QPR). In January 2010, he joined AFC Wimbledon on a short loan. A loan means a player temporarily plays for another team. He played two games for them.
Later, in April 2010, Josh made his first big league appearance for QPR in the Championship. He came on as a substitute in a game against Crystal Palace. He even started his first game two weeks later against Barnsley.
In October 2010, he went on another loan to Northampton Town. He played three games there before returning to QPR. He then joined Wycombe Wanderers on loan in November 2010. Unfortunately, his loan ended early because he got a foot injury while playing for his country. After this, he left QPR.
Playing for Oldham Athletic
In August 2011, Josh signed a one-year contract with Oldham Athletic. He played his first game for them at the start of the 2011–12 season. In March 2012, he went on loan to Dagenham & Redbridge. He was released by Oldham at the end of that season.
Time at Oxford United
In December 2012, Josh joined Oxford United. He played 15 league games for them. He left the club in May 2013.

Joining Gillingham
In January 2017, Josh joined Wealdstone. Just two weeks later, he signed with League One team Gillingham. He made a great start, scoring in a friendly game and then scoring a goal in his first league game for Gillingham. This goal was a 95th-minute equaliser, which means he scored right at the end of the game to make the scores even. Because of his good performance, his contract was extended for two more years.
Moving to Charlton Athletic
Josh Parker joined Charlton Athletic on a six-month contract in 2019. He left Charlton at the end of the 2018–19 season.
Returning to Wycombe Wanderers

Playing for His Country
Josh Parker can play for the Antigua and Barbuda national team. He was called up to play for them in November 2010 for the Caribbean Championship qualifiers.
He played his first game for Antigua and Barbuda on November 10, 2010, in a 2–1 win against Suriname. He played the whole game. He also played in the 2010 and 2014 Caribbean Cup. In 2015, he was made captain of the team.
