Joshua Reynolds (born February 16, 1995) is an American professional football player. He plays as a wide receiver for the Jacksonville Jaguars in the National Football League (NFL). Before joining the NFL, he played college football at Texas A&M. While there, he set a school record in 2014 with 13 receiving touchdowns in one season. The Los Angeles Rams chose him in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL draft.

Early Life and High School Football
Josh Reynolds was born on February 16, 1995, in San Antonio, Texas. He has a younger brother named Moses.
Josh went to John Jay High School. He played both wide receiver and safety for the school's football team. In his final year of high school, he caught 44 passes for 667 yards. He also made 48 tackles and had three interceptions. By the end of his high school career, Josh had 102 receptions for 1,859 yards and 22 touchdowns.
Experts rated Josh as a three-star recruit. He was interested in playing for Oregon State. However, Oregon State told him they had no more spots for wide receivers. So, Josh decided to sign with Tyler Junior College.
College Career Highlights
Playing at Tyler Junior College (2013)
In 2013, Josh played his first year of college football at Tyler Junior College. He caught 44 passes for a total of 782 yards. His great performance earned him a spot on the second-team all-conference list.
After this successful year, several bigger colleges offered him a chance to play. The most notable offers came from Texas A&M and Oregon. Other schools like Boise State and TCU also showed interest. Josh chose to play for Texas A&M.
Starring at Texas A&M
2014 Season: A Record-Breaking Start
Josh made an immediate impact in his first year at Texas A&M in 2014. In his very first game, he caught six passes for 76 yards and scored a touchdown. He continued to play well throughout the season.
One of his best games was against Missouri. He caught five passes for 125 yards and two touchdowns. Overall, he finished the season with 52 catches for 842 yards. He also scored 13 receiving touchdowns. These 13 touchdowns set a new season record for Texas A&M Aggies. He broke the previous record held by Pro Bowler Mike Evans.
2015 Season: Continued Success
Josh started the 2015 season strong, scoring three touchdowns in his first three games. He had a career-high 141 receiving yards against Mississippi State.
In his final game of the junior year, the 2015 Music City Bowl, he had his best game yet. He caught 11 passes for 177 receiving yards. By the end of the season, Josh had 51 catches for 907 yards and five touchdowns.
2016 Season: Senior Year and More Records
Before his senior year, Josh could have entered the NFL Draft. However, he decided to stay at Texas A&M for one more season. He had another strong year, starting with a touchdown against UCLA.
He had a streak of eight games in a row where he scored a receiving touchdown. In his last college game, the 2016 Texas Bowl, he caught 12 passes for 154 yards and two touchdowns. He finished his college career at A&M with 12 receiving touchdowns and 1,039 receiving yards in his senior year. He led the SEC in both receiving yards and touchdowns that season. Josh studied recreation, park, and tourism science at Texas A&M.

Los Angeles Rams (2017–2020)
The Los Angeles Rams picked Josh Reynolds in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL draft. He was the 117th player chosen overall. In June 2017, the Rams signed him to a four-year contract.
Josh made his NFL debut in Week 2 of the 2017 season. He caught a 28-yard pass. In Week 12, he made his first NFL start. He caught four passes for 37 yards and scored a 7-yard touchdown. He finished his first season with 11 catches for 104 yards and one touchdown.
In 2018, Josh became a more important player for the Rams. He started eight games and finished the season with 29 catches for 402 yards and five touchdowns. He helped the Rams reach Super Bowl LIII. In the Super Bowl, he had three catches for 28 yards, but the Rams lost the game.
For the 2019 season, Josh had 21 catches for 326 yards. He scored his only touchdown of the season in a game played in London. In 2020, Josh had his best season yet with the Rams. He caught 52 passes for 618 yards, both career highs. He started 13 of the 16 games that year.
Tennessee Titans (2021)
On March 23, 2021, Josh signed a one-year contract with the Tennessee Titans. He played in five games for the Titans, catching 10 passes for 90 yards. He was later released by the team in November 2021.
Detroit Lions (2021–2023)
The very next day, on November 10, 2021, the Detroit Lions picked up Josh. For the rest of the 2021 season, he played in seven games and caught 19 passes for 306 yards and two touchdowns. He had a great game against the Arizona Cardinals, catching six passes for 68 yards and a touchdown.
In March 2022, Josh signed a new two-year contract with the Lions. In the 2022 season, he played in 14 games and started 11. He finished with 38 catches for 479 yards and three touchdowns.
During the 2023 season, Josh played in all 17 regular season games. He caught 40 passes for 608 yards and five touchdowns. In the playoffs, he helped the Lions win their first playoff game in over 30 years against his former team, the Los Angeles Rams. He also scored a touchdown in the next playoff game against the Buccaneers. The Lions eventually lost the NFC Championship game.
Denver Broncos (2024)
On March 27, 2024, Josh signed a two-year contract with the Denver Broncos. In October, he was placed on injured reserve due to a hand injury. Later that month, Reynolds was injured in an incident in Denver. On December 3, the Broncos released him.
Jacksonville Jaguars (2024–present)
On December 4, 2024, the Jacksonville Jaguars picked up Josh Reynolds.
