Joshua Reynolds (born February 16, 1995) is an American professional football player. He is a wide receiver for the New York Jets in the National Football League (NFL). Before joining the NFL, he played college football for the Texas A&M Aggies. He holds a school record for the most receiving touchdowns in a season, with 13 in 2014. The Los Angeles Rams chose Reynolds in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL draft.

Early Life and High School Football
Josh Reynolds was born on February 16, 1995, in San Antonio, Texas. He has a younger brother, Moses Reynolds, who also played football.
Josh went to John Jay High School. He played both wide receiver and safety for the school's football team. In his final year of high school, he caught 44 passes for 667 yards. He also made 48 tackles and had three interceptions.
By the end of his high school career, Josh had caught 102 passes for 1,859 yards and scored 22 touchdowns. Experts rated him as a good player, and he received interest from several top college football programs. He decided to play for Tyler Junior College.
College Football Career
Josh Reynolds played college football for two different schools: Tyler Junior College and Texas A&M.
Playing for Tyler Junior College (2013)
In 2013, Josh played his first year at Tyler Junior College. He caught 44 passes for a total of 782 yards. His strong performance earned him a spot on the second-team all-conference list.
After this successful season, he received offers from bigger universities. Some of the most notable offers came from Texas A&M and Oregon. He chose to sign with Texas A&M.
Playing for Texas A&M
2014 Season Highlights
Josh quickly made an impact in his first year at Texas A&M in 2014. In his very first game, he caught six passes for 76 yards and scored a touchdown. He continued to perform well throughout the season.
He had games with multiple touchdowns, including two against Rice and two against Mississippi State. He also had a 70-yard touchdown catch against SMU. In a game against Missouri, he gained 125 receiving yards.
Overall, in 2014, Josh caught 52 passes for 842 yards. He scored 13 touchdowns, which set a new school record for Texas A&M. This record broke the previous one held by famous players like Mike Evans. He was one of the top receivers in his conference.
2015 Season Highlights
Josh started the 2015 season strong, scoring three touchdowns in the first three games. Later in the season, he had a career-high 141 receiving yards in a game against Mississippi State. He also gained 106 yards against Arkansas and 105 yards against Vanderbilt.
As a junior, Josh caught 51 passes for 907 yards and scored five touchdowns. In the last game of his junior year, the 2015 Music City Bowl, he had his best game yet. He caught 11 passes for 177 yards.
2016 Season Highlights
Before his senior year, Josh had the option to enter the NFL Draft. However, he decided to stay at Texas A&M for one more season. He started the 2016 season with a touchdown against UCLA.
He continued his strong play, with a 141-yard game against Arkansas and a touchdown against Tennessee. He then had an impressive streak of eight games in a row where he scored a receiving touchdown.

Professional Football Career
Josh Reynolds was invited to the NFL's Senior Bowl, a game for top college players. He was then chosen by the Los Angeles Rams in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL draft.

Los Angeles Rams (2017–2020)
Josh Reynolds officially joined the Los Angeles Rams in June 2017. He made his NFL debut in Week 2, catching a 28-yard pass. In Week 12, he made his first start and caught his first NFL touchdown pass. He finished his first season with 11 catches for 104 yards and one touchdown.
In 2018, Josh took on a bigger role after a teammate was injured. He started eight games and finished the season with 29 catches for 402 yards and five touchdowns. He helped the Rams reach Super Bowl LIII. In the Super Bowl, he had three catches, but the Rams lost the game.
During the 2019 season, Josh caught 21 passes for 326 yards. His best game was in London, where he scored his only touchdown of the season.
In 2020, Josh had his best season yet with the Rams. He caught 52 passes for 618 yards, both career highs. He started 13 of the 16 games he played. In a game against the Seattle Seahawks, he caught eight passes for 94 yards.
Tennessee Titans (2021)
In March 2021, Josh signed a one-year contract with the Tennessee Titans. He played in five games for the Titans, catching 10 passes for 90 yards. He was later released by the team in November 2021.
Detroit Lions (2021–2023)
Right after being released by the Titans, Josh was picked up by the Detroit Lions in November 2021. For the rest of the 2021 season, he played in seven games and started five. He caught 29 passes for 396 yards and scored two touchdowns. He had a great game against the Arizona Cardinals, catching six passes for 68 yards and a touchdown.
In March 2022, Josh signed a new two-year contract with the Lions. In the 2022 season, he played in 14 games and started 11. He finished with 38 catches for 479 yards and three touchdowns.
During the 2023 season, Josh played in all 17 regular season games, starting 13 of them. He caught 40 passes for 608 yards and scored five touchdowns. In the playoffs, he helped the Lions win their first playoff game in a long time against his former team, the Los Angeles Rams. He also scored a touchdown in the next playoff game against the Buccaneers. The Lions' playoff run ended in the NFC Championship game.
Denver Broncos (2024)
In March 2024, Josh signed a two-year contract with the Denver Broncos. In October, he was placed on injured reserve due to a hand injury. Later that month, he was dealing with a personal health issue. He was released by the Broncos in December 2024.
Jacksonville Jaguars (2024)
In December 2024, Josh was claimed by the Jacksonville Jaguars. In the 2024 season, combining his time with the Broncos and Jaguars, he had 13 catches for 194 yards and one touchdown. He was released by the Jaguars in March 2025.
New York Jets (2025–present)
In March 2025, Josh Reynolds signed a one-year contract with the New York Jets.
