Judson is a community in Greenville County, South Carolina, United States. It is known as a "census-designated place" (CDP). This means it's an area the government uses to collect information about people, even though it's not an official city or town.
In 2010, about 2,050 people lived in Judson. By 2020, the population grew to 2,352 people. Judson is part of the larger Greenville metropolitan area. This area includes nearby towns like Mauldin and Easley.
Geography of Judson
Judson is located in the western part of Greenville County. Its exact location is 34°50′3″N 82°25′34″W / 34.83417°N 82.42611°W.
It shares borders with several other places:
- To the northeast, it borders the city of Greenville.
- To the southeast, it borders Dunean.
- To the west, it borders Welcome.
- To the north, it borders Parker.
U.S. Route 123 (also called Easley Bridge Road) runs along Judson's northern edge. This highway goes northeast about 2.5 miles (4.0 km) to the center of Greenville. It also goes west about 10 miles (16 km) to Easley.
