Wen Junhui (Chinese: 文俊辉; born June 10, 1996), known as Jun (Hangul: 준), is a Chinese singer, dancer, and actor. He works in both South Korea and China. Jun is a member of the popular South Korean boy band Seventeen.
Before joining Seventeen, Jun was a child actor. He starred in several movies, like The Pye Dog (2007), where he won an award for Best New Actor. He also played a young Ip Man in The Legend Is Born: Ip Man (2010). In 2023, Jun returned to acting with a main role in the show Exclusive Fairytale.
Besides his group activities with Seventeen, Jun has released his own songs in Chinese. These include "Limbo" and "Psycho." "Limbo" even won him the New Singer-Songwriter of the Year award at the Tencent Music Entertainment Awards.

Career Journey
Early Acting Days (1998–2015)
Jun started acting when he was only two years old! His first job was in a commercial in 1998. He appeared in many TV shows, including Dragon Laws when he was five.
In 2007, he made his first movie, The Pye DogIp Man in the movie The Legend Is Born: Ip Man. In 2014, he was in a Chinese web drama called Intouchable.
. For this film, he won the Hong Kong Film Directors' Guild's Best New Performer Silver Award. He was also nominated for another award at the 27th Hong Kong Film Awards in 2008. In 2010, he played a young version of the famous martial artistJoining Seventeen (2015–Present)
In October 2012, Jun moved to South Korea. There, he trained with Pledis Entertainment to become a K-pop idol. From 2013 to 2015, he appeared on shows like Seventeen TV as a trainee. He practiced very hard to improve his dancing and singing skills.
Jun officially debuted as a member of Seventeen on May 26, 2015. Their first album, 17 Carat, came out just three days later.
In 2018, Jun and another Seventeen member, The8, joined a Chinese music show called Chao Yin Zhan Ji. Jun won the first solo stage on the show with his performance of "Wo Ming Bai." This was a Chinese version of Seventeen's song "Thanks," and Jun wrote the lyrics for it. From October to December 2018, he also helped host a Chinese music ranking show called Yo! Bang.
In August 2024, it was announced that Jun would take a break from Seventeen's group activities in South Korea. He planned to focus on acting in China.
Solo Music and Other Projects (2018–Present)
Jun released his first solo song, "Can You Sit By My Side," on December 14, 2018. He also helped write the lyrics for this song. In 2020, he sang "Dream" (Chinese version) for the soundtrack of the TV show The King: Eternal Monarch.
On February 5, 2021, Jun released the single "Crow." This song later became part of his second single album, Silent Boarding Gate, released on February 14. "Crow" even appeared on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart, which was a big step for him as a solo artist.
On September 23, 2022, Jun released his third digital single, "Limbo." It came out in both Korean and Chinese versions. This song did very well, selling many copies in China and charting on music platforms in Korea.
Jun made a big return to acting in 2023. He played the main male role in the drama Exclusive Fairytale. He won the Rising Star of the Year Award at the 2023 Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards during the Busan International Film Festival.
On July 4, 2023, Jun released his fourth digital single, "Psycho." A few days later, he attended the Tencent Music Awards. There, he won the "New Singer-Songwriter of the Year" award and performed his songs "Psycho" and "Limbo." He also performed with Seventeen.
Ambassador Roles
Jun has become an ambassador for several brands and organizations:
- In February 2024, he was named a travel ambassador for Shenzhen, his hometown.
- In April, he became an ambassador for the skincare brand Filorga.
- In May, he was announced as an ambassador for the bubble tea store Chapanda.
About Jun's Life
Jun grew up in Shenzhen, China, with his parents and a younger brother. He went to Buji Senior High School. From a young age, he learned wushu, which is a Chinese martial art. He dreamed of becoming a martial arts actor, just like Jackie Chan. Jun also plays the piano and has performed his own versions of Seventeen's songs.
Because of his good looks, he has some fun nicknames. In Japan, he's called "The Miracle of Mainland" (error: {{nihongo}}: Japanese or romaji text required (help)). In China, fans call him "Big Beauty" (Chinese: 大漂亮). He's also known as the "Little Prince of Shenzhen Metro" (Chinese: 深圳地铁小王子). This is because public service announcements he filmed for the Shenzhen Metro in middle school are still shown on some trains! He is also known for being tall, standing at 182 cm (about 6 feet).
