Justin Dean Kluivert (born 5 May 1999) is a Dutch professional football player. He plays as a winger or forward. Justin currently plays for the English club Bournemouth and the Netherlands national team.
Justin is the son of famous Dutch football player Patrick Kluivert. His grandfather, Kenneth Kluivert, was also a football player from Suriname. Justin started his football journey at Ajax in the Netherlands. He played there for two seasons. In 2018, he moved to the Italian team Roma. He also played for the Netherlands national youth teams before joining the senior team in 2018.

Justin's Club Career
Starting at Ajax
Justin Kluivert was born in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He grew up playing football in the AFC Ajax youth program. He signed his first professional contract with Ajax. His first professional game was for Jong Ajax (Ajax's reserve team) on 16 September 2016. He came on as a substitute in a game against MVV.
Justin also played in the 2016–17 UEFA Youth League. He scored a goal in a 2–0 win against PAOK in November. On 15 January 2017, Justin played his first game for the main Ajax team in the Eredivisie (the top Dutch league). He scored his first goal in the Eredivisie on 19 March. This was exactly 10 years and one day after his father's last career goal! He played in six games in the 2016–17 UEFA Europa League. He was on the bench for the final, where Ajax lost to Manchester United.
On 26 November 2017, Justin scored three goals in one game (a hat-trick). This helped Ajax win 5–1 against Roda JC.
Moving to Roma

On 12 June 2018, Justin moved to the Italian club Roma. He joined them after a phone call from Roma legend Francesco Totti to his father. Justin chose the number 34 shirt at Roma. This was to support his good friend and former teammate Abdelhak Nouri. Nouri had a serious heart problem in 2017 that ended his career.
On 3 October 2018, Justin became the youngest Roma player to score in the UEFA Champions League. He scored a goal in a 5–0 win against Viktoria Plzeň. This was his first goal for Roma, and he dedicated it to Nouri. On 16 December, he scored his first goal in the Serie A (the top Italian league). Roma won 3–2 against Genoa. For the 2019–20 season, Justin changed his shirt number to 99, which was the year he was born.
Loan to RB Leipzig
On 5 October 2020, Justin joined the German club RB Leipzig on loan for a season. He scored his first goal in the Bundesliga (the top German league) on 5 December. This was in a 3–3 draw against Bayern Munich. On 8 December, he scored a goal in a 3–2 win against Manchester United in the 2020–21 UEFA Champions League.
Loan to Nice
On 20 July 2021, Justin went on loan again. This time, he joined the French club Nice in Ligue 1 (the top French league). He stayed there for a season.
Loan to Valencia
On 1 September 2022, Justin signed a loan deal with the Spanish club Valencia for the 2022–23 season. Before this, he almost moved to Fulham in England, but he couldn't get a work permit.
Joining AFC Bournemouth
On 23 June 2023, the Premier League club AFC Bournemouth announced they had signed Justin Kluivert. He made his debut for Bournemouth on 12 August. He came on as a substitute in a 1–1 draw against West Ham United.
On 1 November 2023, Justin scored his first goal for Bournemouth. It was in a 2–1 loss to Liverpool in the EFL Cup. On 25 November, he scored his first Premier League goal in a 3–1 win against Sheffield United. By doing this, Justin became one of only three players to score in all five major European football leagues.
On 30 November 2024, Justin made history. He became the first player to score three goals from penalties in a Premier League match. Bournemouth won 4–2 against Wolverhampton Wanderers. This was the first time this had happened in the English top division in 67 years. On 18 January 2025, Justin scored another hat-trick, this time from open play. Bournemouth beat Newcastle United 4–1. This win stopped Newcastle's nine-game winning streak.
Playing for His Country
Justin played for the Netherlands Under-17 team in the 2016 Under 17 Euros in Azerbaijan. The team reached the semi-finals of the tournament.
In March 2018, Justin was called up to the senior Netherlands national football team for the first time. He made his senior debut on 26 March in a 3–0 win against Portugal. He came on as a substitute for the last 12 minutes of the game.
About Justin's Family
Justin Kluivert comes from a family of football players. His father is the famous former Dutch international Patrick Kluivert. His grandfather, Kenneth Kluivert, was a football player from Suriname. Justin also has family roots in Curaçao. He has four brothers. One of them, Ruben Kluivert, is also a football player. His other brothers, Shane and Quincy, play for youth teams at FC Barcelona and AVV Zeeburgia.
