Justin Paul (born January 3, 1985) is an American composer and lyricist. He is famous for writing songs for popular films like La La Land (2016) and The Greatest Showman (2017). Early Life and Education
Justin Paul was born in Missouri. He grew up in Connecticut. From a young age, he loved music and theatre. He attended the Music Theatre of Connecticut School of Performing Arts. He also went to Coleytown Middle School and Staples High School in Westport, Connecticut.
During his school years, Justin was very active in theatre programs. He was part of the Coleytown Company and Staples Players. These were his middle and high school theatre groups. He later graduated from the University of Michigan in 2006. He earned a degree in Musical Theatre.
