Juvenal Amarijo (born November 27, 1923 – died October 30, 2009) was a famous Brazilian football player. He was born in Santa Vitória do Palmar, Brazil. Juvenal played as a strong defender, often in the center of the field.

Early Life and Club Journey

Juvenal started his football journey with a team called Cruzeiro-RS in 1943. After playing there for five years, he joined Flamengo in 1949. Flamengo is one of Brazil's biggest football clubs.

In 1951, Juvenal moved to another famous team, Palmeiras. He played there for three years. Later, in 1954, he joined Bahia. He finished his playing career in 1959 with Ypiranga-BA.

Playing for Brazil: The 1950 World Cup

Juvenal Amarijo also played for the Brazilian national team. He was part of the squad that competed in the 1950 FIFA World Cup. This World Cup was very special because it was held in Brazil.

Brazil reached the final match of the tournament. Juvenal was one of the key players in that team. Although Brazil did not win the final, his participation was a big moment in his career.
