Before joining the NFL, he played college football for the Georgia Bulldogs. He helped his college team win two national championships! The Texans picked him in the 2024 NFL draft.

Kamari was born in Savannah, Georgia. He started playing football when he was only three years old! He went to American Christian Academy in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Kamari was a great athlete in high school. He played football, basketball, baseball, and ran track.
High School Football Achievements
In high school, Kamari was amazing at football. He made 210 tackles and caught 10 interceptions. He also caused four fumbles. Besides playing defense, Kamari was also a wide receiver. He gained 2,488 yards and scored 35 touchdowns.
Kamari was considered a top player, known as a four-star recruit. He decided to play college football at the University of Georgia. He chose Georgia over other big schools like Auburn and Clemson.
College Football Career
Kamari started playing for the Georgia Bulldogs in 2021. This was his first year, and he played in all 15 games. He made 11 tackles and had one interception.
Stepping Up in 2022
In the 2022 season, Kamari's role on the team grew bigger. He started his first game against the Oregon team. In that game, he made three tackles. Later, against Tennessee, he had his best game with five tackles. He also broke up a pass.
Kamari finished the 2022 season with 38 tackles. He made three tackles in the big championship game. This was when Georgia won 65–7 against TCU. They won the 2023 College Football Playoff National Championship Game!
