Katherine Mills is a talented English magician and mentalist. She was born in 1983. Katherine is famous for her amazing magic tricks and mind-reading skills. She even had her own TV show called Katherine Mills: Mind Games. She also appeared in a show that won a BAFTA Children's Award. This show was called Help! My Supply Teacher's Still Magic.
Early Life and Magic Interests
When Katherine Mills was a teenager, she became very interested in magic. She especially liked the work of the famous magician David Blaine. She would even record his TV shows to watch them again. This helped her try to figure out how his tricks were done. Later, she went to Loughborough University to study social psychology.
Katherine Mills' Magic Career
Katherine Mills officially joined The Magic Circle in 2008. The Magic Circle is a very old and respected club for magicians. She first appeared on the CBBC show Help! My Supply Teacher's Still Magic. This show won a special award for children's entertainment in 2013.
On October 2, 2014, Katherine got her very own TV show. It was called Katherine Mills: Mind Games and aired on the Watch channel. This was a big moment because she was the first female magician to have her own show on British television! In 2015, she was invited back to the BAFTAs. She performed some magic and also presented an award.
Katherine Mills is one of only a small number of female magicians in The Magic Circle. Out of about 1,500 magicians in the club, only about 80 to 100 are women.
