Kaye Rintoul Adams (born 28 December 1962) is a Scottish television presenter and journalist. She is well-known for hosting the ITV discussion show Loose Women. She was a main presenter on the show from 1999 to 2006 and returned in 2013.
Kaye also used to be a regular guest on Channel 5's morning show The Wright Stuff from 2007 to 2012. Today, she hosts a morning show on BBC Radio Scotland every weekday.

Early Life and Education
Kaye Adams was born in Falkirk, Scotland. She grew up in Grangemouth. She went to Abbotsgrange Middle School and Grangemouth High.
Later, she attended St George's School, Edinburgh. She then studied at the University of Edinburgh. She earned a degree with honors in Economics and Politics.
Kaye's Media Career
Kaye Adams began her career at Central Television. She focused on news and political reporting. One of her first big interviews was with Margaret Thatcher.
In 1988, she joined Scottish Television's news program, Scotland Today. She was one of the first reporters at the scene of the Lockerbie disaster in 1988.
Becoming a Talk Show Host
In 1992, Kaye got a chance to host a discussion show called Scottish Women. This show ran for six years and won several awards. It marked the start of her career as a talk show host.
After Scottish Women, Kaye presented other shows. These included ITV Weekend Live and Central Weekend Live. She also hosted Esther, which later became Kaye for BBC Two.
Loose Women and Other Shows
From 1999 to 2006, Kaye was a main presenter on the ITV talk show Loose Women. She returned to the show in 2013. On Loose Women, she and other female presenters discuss current topics and entertain viewers.
Kaye also presented a daytime show called The People Versus. She was a guest host and panellist on Have I Got News for You. Between 2007 and 2010, she was a regular panellist on Channel 5's The Wright Stuff.
In 2008, Kaye narrated a six-part documentary series called The Merchant Navy on STV. She also reported for The One Show and guest-hosted The Hour on STV.
In 2010, Kaye narrated a special documentary about the Lockerbie bombing. It looked at the bomber's conviction and the decision to send him home.
Radio and Recent Appearances
Since 2011, Kaye has guest presented Channel 5's LIVE with... program. In 2013, she co-hosted Sunday Scoop with Nadia Sawalha. Kaye and Nadia also released a cookery book together in 2018.
In March 2010, Kaye joined BBC Radio Scotland. She hosted a daily phone-in show called Call Kaye. This show ended in 2015. It was replaced by The Kaye Adams Show, which she still hosts every weekday.
In 2022, Kaye Adams was a contestant on the twentieth series of Strictly Come Dancing. She was paired with Kai Widdrington. They were the first couple to be eliminated from the competition that series.
Personal Life
Kaye Adams is in a relationship with her long-term partner, Ian Campbell. He is a tennis coach. They live in Glasgow and have two daughters together.
Kaye is good friends with Nadia Sawalha, who is also a presenter on Loose Women. Kaye is also a co-patron of Kindred. This is a Scottish charity that helps families of young people with disabilities and mental health issues.
