Keachi (pronounced "key-chai") is a small town in DeSoto Parish, Louisiana, United States. In 2020, about 243 people lived there. It is part of the larger Shreveport–Bossier City area.
The Presbyterian Church in Keachi was built in 1848. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, which means it's an important historical site.

Geography and Location
Keachi is located in the northwestern part of DeSoto Parish. You can find it at these coordinates: 32 degrees, 10 minutes, 55 seconds North and 93 degrees, 54 minutes, 24 seconds West.
Louisiana Highway 5 goes through the town. This road leads east about 4 miles to Kickapoo. It also goes south about 7 miles to Longstreet.
Highway 172 goes west from Keachi for about 8 miles to the Texas border. Highway 789 goes north for about 10 miles to Spring Ridge. The larger city of Shreveport is about 32 miles northeast of Keachi.
The United States Census Bureau says that Keachi covers a total area of about 5.07 square miles (13.1 square kilometers). Most of this area is land. Only a small part, about 0.04 square miles (0.1 square kilometers), is water.
