Keiju Karashima (辛島 啓珠, Karashima Keiju, born June 24, 1971) is a Japanese former football player and manager. He was born on June 24, 1971, in Kyoto, Japan. Karashima played as a defender for several Japanese clubs. After his playing career, he became a football manager, leading various teams.

Playing Career Highlights
Keiju Karashima started his football journey after finishing university. He joined Gamba Osaka in 1994. He quickly became a regular player for the team, playing as a central defender.
Moving to New Teams
From 1995, injuries made it harder for him to play as often. In 1997, he moved to Avispa Fukuoka. However, he didn't get to play much there and left the club at the end of the year.
After a break, he joined his hometown club, Kyoto Purple Sanga, in October 1998. He played for them until 1999 but still found it difficult to get playing time.
Final Playing Years
In 2000, Karashima moved to Mito HollyHock. This team had just been promoted to the J2 League, which is Japan's second-highest football division. He played regularly in 2000. However, in 2001, his chances to play decreased again, and he decided to retire from playing in September 2001. Throughout his career, he played in 105 league matches and scored 3 goals.
Coaching and Managing Teams
After retiring as a player, Keiju Karashima began a new career in coaching.
Early Coaching Roles
He started coaching at Kashiwa Reysol in October 2001. He worked with their youth teams until June 2004, helping young players develop their skills.
In 2005, he became the manager of Matsumoto Yamaga FC, a club in the Japanese Regional Leagues. He led this team for three years, until 2007.
Moving to Higher Leagues
In 2008, he joined FC Gifu, a club that had just moved up to the J2 League. He worked as a coach for the main team and managed their reserve team.
He then moved to Japan Soccer College in 2009 as a coach. In 2010, he became their manager and stayed in that role until 2012.
Managerial Successes
In 2013, Karashima returned to FC Gifu as a coach. Later that year, he took over as the main manager. In 2014, he managed Sagawa Printing Kyoto, a team based in his home area.
In 2015, he became the manager of SC Sagamihara in the J3 League, which is Japan's third-highest division. He managed them until November of that year.
Coaching Women's Football
From 2016 to 2017, Keiju Karashima managed Albirex Niigata Ladies, a women's football club in the L.League. Under his leadership, the team achieved second place in the 2016 Empress's Cup, a major women's football tournament.
After that, he managed Suzuka Unlimited FC in 2018. In 2019, he signed with another women's football club, Mynavi Vegalta Sendai Ladies.
