Starting His Career
Keith Reed was chosen by the Baltimore Orioles in the 1999 Major League Baseball Draft. He was one of their top picks that year. By 2001, he was considered the Orioles' number one young player, or "prospect."
Making It to the MLB
Reed made his first appearance in Major League Baseball on May 11, 2005. He joined the Baltimore Orioles team. During his time with the Orioles, he played in 6 games. He got 1 hit in 5 chances to bat.
Playing in the Minor Leagues
