The Kemah Boardwalk is a fun theme park located on the Texas Gulf Coast. It's in Kemah, Texas, about 30 miles southeast of Downtown Houston. This 60-acre park is built right along the water, next to Galveston Bay and Clear Lake. It's known as one of the best boardwalks in the United States!

The Kemah Boardwalk is owned by Landry's, Inc. It has over 10 restaurants, lots of rides, fun games, and shops. There's even a hotel, a yacht, and a marina. You can walk around the boardwalk for free. If you want to go on rides, you can buy tickets for each ride or get an all-day pass.

History of the Boardwalk

The company Landry's, Inc. bought land along the Kemah waterfront in 1997. They then opened the Kemah Boardwalk to the public in 1998.

In 2007, a very exciting wooden roller coaster called the Boardwalk Bullet opened at the park. This roller coaster is 96 feet tall and 3,236 feet long. It's built on a small area, making it one of the most compact roller coasters in the world!
